Astronaut Privacy Policy
Welcome to the Astronaut Privacy Policy. This document explains how the Astronaut game (the “Game”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects information from players in India. We aim to be clear and practical: this policy tells you what data we need to operate the Game, why we need it, how long we keep it, and what control you have over your information.
Please read this policy carefully before registering, logging in, or playing Astronaut for real money. If you have questions about any part of this policy, check the Contact & Requests section below for how to reach our privacy team.
Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Players accessing Astronaut through our web platforms, mobile web (PWA) and official mobile applications;
- Demo and real-money modes played by users located in India;
- Any features of the Game where personal data is collected (registration, deposits, withdrawals, promotions, support).
If you access Astronaut via a third-party operator or aggregator, that operator may have its own privacy policy. In those cases, both policies may apply — this policy governs the Game’s direct handling of data.

How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Create and manage your account, process deposits and withdrawals, and deliver the Game experience;
- Verify identity and meet anti-fraud / anti-money laundering obligations;
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes;
- Send transactional messages (account alerts, payment confirmations) and marketing communications if you opt in;
- Improve Game performance, detect and prevent cheating/fraud, and run analytics to refine gameplay;
- Comply with legal or regulatory requirements and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for business analytics and product improvements.
Legal basis & consent
For players in India, we rely on:
- Contract performance: to provide the Game and related services when you register and play;
- Legal obligations: for KYC, anti-money laundering (AML) checks and tax or regulatory reporting where applicable;
- Legitimate interests: for fraud prevention, security, analytics, and product improvement (balanced against your rights and freedoms);
- Consent: where required (for marketing communications and certain optional features). You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Sharing & disclosure
We may share your data with:
- Service providers and processors (payment processors, identity verification providers, cloud hosting, analytics vendors) to operate the Game;
- Operator partners if you play Astronaut through a third-party casino — in those cases the operator is a joint or separate controller for some data;
- Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law, court order or to prevent fraud and security threats;
- Affiliates and corporate service providers for operational reasons (e.g., accounting, audits), under strict confidentiality agreements.
All third parties are required to protect data at a comparable level and may only use it for permitted purposes.
Cookies, tracking and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, performance improvements, fraud detection and optional analytics/marketing. You can control cookie preferences through your browser or in-app settings. Essential cookies are required to access the Game; disabling them may limit functionality.
Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Game and fulfill your requests (including transactional records for deposits/withdrawals);
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (for example, financial records retention);
- Resolve disputes and enforce our terms.
Typical retention ranges:
- Account & transactional records: up to 7 years for compliance and audit purposes;
- Gameplay and logs: 1–5 years depending on fraud and dispute risk;
- Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent.
If you request account deletion, we will remove or anonymize data where feasible, subject to legal retention requirements and obligations to preserve transaction histories.
Security measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest for sensitive fields where practical;
- Hashed passwords and secure session management;
- Role-based access controls and logging for internal access;
- Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
No system is perfect. If a data incident occurs, we will notify affected users and take remedial actions in line with applicable laws.
Children & age restrictions
Astronaut is intended for users who meet the legal gambling age in their jurisdiction (India: please follow local state laws). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover a minor has created an account, we will suspend and delete the account pending verified parental consent and legal requirements.
